Have you ever wondered what Joe would look like covered in MUD? In this week’s Must See Monday you get just that, Joe and the Gold Jacket covered in mud. Watch Joe at the Wainfleet Fair, an event Joe would not miss for anything.
2017 Wainfleet Fall Fair, The Happenings
The fall fair started in 1967 as a Canadian Centennial project. It was first called the Marshville Fair. Marshville was the original name for the township. Not to be confused with the Labour Day Marshville Herritage Festival, the Wainfleet Fall Fair offers fun for the entire family!
While for years aspects of the fair, such as its poultry and pet shows, were only open to Wainfleet residents, now at least 90 to 95 per cent of it is now open to residents across Niagara.
With multiple attractions and events such as mud bog, bounce houses, baby show and agricultural show, the Wainfleet Fall fair has brought years of fun and enjoyment to generations of ‘Fleeters.
What’s He Up To?
Thanks to friends at 905 Rentals, Joe gets to compete in the mud bogging contest. Armed with a go-pro and signature gold jacket, Joe races in a pit of mud. How do you think the jacket faired? After winning trophy for best dressed in the mud bogging competition, Joe grabs some deep fried Oreos before heading to the Wainfleet Idol Competition. Passing some huge pumpkins, Joe tests himself on the drunk driving simulator. Aapex Dirving Academy uses virtual reality to simulate a field sobriety test. Joe vows never to drink and drive after this all to real simulation.
How Many Cobs Of Corn Could A Joe-Chuck Chuck?
Corn eating contest? Joe’s in. Along side his competitors, Joe competes for corn cob eating master. In 5 minutes, Joe demolishes 7 cobs of corn at this years Wainfleet Fall Fair. But its not enough to get the win. 8 cobs won the red ribbon this year and Joe grabs a second place blue.
Nothings Sweeter Than Being A ‘Fleeter
Someone once said “Home is where love resides, memories are created, friends always belong, and laughter never ends.” That is Wainfleet to Joe. The Wainfleet Fall Fair brings us together as not just friends, but as strong community of family.
