The 2X4 Diner Wainfleet, is definitely a township favourite. Located at the corner of River Road and Regional Road 24, you can often see the parking lot full for the Sunday breakfast goers. A staple in Wainfleet, the 2X4 offers a variety of menu options to choose from. In keeping with the farm fields surrounding it, the 2×4’s rustic decor is welcoming and inviting. Friendly staff are always smiling and happy to help. It must also be mentioned the their dessert selection is exceptional. A juicy shirt staining burger, with fresh cut fries for Joe, and a Chicken Caesar Wrap for Joe’s new assistant Stacey. The fully loaded burger is made from 100% ground beef and is so juicy, Joe gets to take the leftovers home on his new shirt. With a couple of cold coca-colas to wash it all down, Joe takes a trip to the dessert display. What?! Homemade flakies! Puff pastries filled with whipped cream and raspberries, a true delight. Also available, were an amazing selection of homemade pies, cakes and squares. Yum!
